This is an exciting time to join Soft Tech! Due to our growth we need more staff to help manage our projects. Working as part of small team in a global company the Project Manager filling this role will need to use their excellent organizational and communication skills to ensure effective delivery and a customer centric approach.
It’s all about the projects and delivering results within a critical part of the business that support seamless implementation of our software into customers’ environments, so someone who is organized, has great attention to detail and is able to drive results would be ideal – we’ll support you with the technical components of the role.
Job tasks and responsibilities
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Professional Services team operating from our office in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The role will ensure successful delivery of projects to customers, through provision of effective organization and leadership whilst ensuring that all projects meet technical and quality standards.
The successful applicant will
Work alongside highly intelligent, motivated and skilled individuals across a wide range of expertise areas
Take the lead on individual projects
Provide appropriate reporting to keep stakeholders informed of delivery progress
You’ll be expected to;
Ensure that professional services projects are managed to time, and quality;
Be adaptable in working hours to suit different time zones, both domestic and international
Identify issues, agree and implement resolutions with team members
Ensure concise and focused communication with all parties
Skills and experience;
Attention to detail, ability to lead and build effective relationships both face to face and via video conference will be critical to the incumbent’s success.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills will also be a key factor for the role.
You will need to be comfortable working across a diverse range of cultures and will also require expertise in the Project Management sphere.
Our products are aligned exclusively with the global fenestration market – i.e. Window & Door Manufacturing. Experience in this area will be an asset as we often deal in critical manufacturing operations.

Soft Tech is a dedicated software development company that has been delivering desktop, mobile and cloud-based engineering applications within the Fenestration Industry for over 30 years. Our head office is based in Auckland New Zealand, and we have satellite branches in Sydney, Australia and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Our portfolio of innovative solutions is implemented using a variety of technologies from an Agile (Scrum) environment. We model real world products in 3D space and drive the ordering and manufacture of them – forming mission critical systems for our customers. The Professional Services arm of our business provides services to customers ranging from general consulting through software set-up to training.
The environment
We are medium sized software development company that has multiple product teams – each team has a varied mix of roles and specific parts of our software solution that they are responsible for.
We value work/life balance and our systems are set up to ensure people don’t take work home with them. Although it’s important to remember that we work across several time zones and there will be an ongoing requirement to work and communicate within time zones that differ to a normal working day in Fort Lauderdale.
